Our Non-Profit Rescue Partners
While many of our animals go into foster and forever homes locally, we want to make sure that all the animals at the Waco Animal Shelter have the best opportunity for a wonderful life. Sometimes that means having a nonprofit rescue partner help us find the perfect home for them. We are incredibly appreciative to have this support system to make sure that every Waco animal gets a chance to live their best life.

It's the goal of HSCTX to place animals in the best possible homes within the shortest amount of time. To complement our adoption and foster programs, and to get animals out of the shelter environment as quickly and safely as possible, we support the transfer of companion animals to responsible, ethical registered 501c3 non-profit animal rescues. We welcome all organizations with 501c3 status who share our commitment to quality care and placement standards to become an HSCTX rescue partner.
